This map visualisation reveals global centres of high vulnerability to climate change, predominately located in the global south.
The poster includes examples of socially responsible solutions designed to support vulnerable communities.
Several solutions are co-designed with members of these communities. Co-design brings lived experience, lived expertise and professional experience together to learn from each other and create design solutions that align with people’s needs.
Research identified socially responsible design as characterised by attitudes that value justice, equality, participation, sharing, sustainability, and practices that engage social issues and recognise the consequences of decisions and actions.
